Parking Information for bikes and cycling touring customers

A pleasant breeze is blowing in Niseko, shaking the fresh greenery.

Since the latter half of April, we have already seen many people on bikes and bicycles out touring to enjoy the mixture of lingering snow and fresh greenery.

 

Lodge Moiwa 834, located at the foot of Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort, has been receiving an increasing number of guests on their way to the resort during this season.

Here is a brief introduction of our facilities for our guests.

Bicycle parking area to shelter you from the wind and rain.
You can park your bicycle on the tile right in front of the front desk and lock it up for peace of mind.

 

Bike parking lot
You can park your bike right next to the hotel entrance. The ground surface is concrete, so it is not dirty even if it rains, and it is easy to access to your room.

Rental E-bicycles
Hokkaido, with its low humidity, is a great field for bicycle riding.
It is a place that makes you feel like cycling there even though you came here by car.

Bicycle rentals are available, so please feel free to inquire at the front desk for more information.

 

Reservations for Lodge Moiwa 834 can be made by phone (8AM – 4PM) or online 24 hours a day.
If you are coming by bike or motorcycle, please let our staff know.

バイク＆サイクリング ツーリングのお客様へご案内

ニセコにも新緑を揺らす気持ちの良い風が吹いています。

既に4月後半から多くのバイクや自転車に乗った方々が残雪と新緑混合の景色を楽しめるこの時期のツーリングにでかけているのを目にします。

 

ニセコモイワスキーリゾートの麓にあるロッジモイワ834にもこの時期になるとツーリング途中のお客様にご宿泊いただく機会が増えております。

そこで皆様向けの施設を簡単にご紹介させていただきます。

■雨風凌げる自転車置き場
フロントの目の前のタイルの上にロックした状態で止めることができ安心です。

■バイク駐車場
ホテル入り口のすぐ横にお止めいただけます。地面はコンクリのため雨が降っても汚れにくく、部屋までのアクセスもすぐ。

■レンタルE自転車
湿気が少ない北海道は自転車で走るには最高のフィールド。
車で来たけどちょっとそこまでサイクリング、そんな気分にさせる場所。

レンタル自転車もございますのでご利用はフロントへお気軽にお問合せください。

■濡れた服も乾かせます
ランドリーで洗濯、乾燥機も完備。
革のウェアなどはロッカーで乾かせます。（冬の間は乾燥室）

■情報交換はラウンジで
近隣の観光地、レストラン、景勝地、温泉、数えきれない魅力のニセコエリア、そして北海道。
スタッフに聞くのも良し、旅をしてきたツーリストからの最新情報もよし。

Banked Slalom2022

Banked Slalom, which was a huge success last year, is returning to Niseko Moiwa. Saturday, April 2, 2022, will be Banked in Niseko Moiwa! You can seriously compete in the festive event or just have fun and enjoy it all. It will be a fun Saturday for sure.

MOIWA THANKS DAY

Join the event and get prized tasty rice or veggies which is made by the farmers work at the resort!

To thank everyone for coming to the resort in this season, we will hold a small event on Monday, March 21 (national holiday).
Participation is of course free of charge. You can take home some tasty prizes!

Location: Kids Park (next to the 2nd pair lift)

■Notes
*There is a limited number of rentals, jagabutter, etc. Please take turns using sleds and striders.
*Registration for the compost bag race will be done on the day of the event.
Parking will be crowded. If you are coming by car, please park in one car as much as possible.

Moiwa staff will also participate in the event to make it a fun day for everyone.
Please bring your children to Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort on March 21, the last day of the 3-day weekend.

今シーズンの皆様のご来場に感謝して3月21日(月・祝)にささやかではありますがイベントを開催いたします。
参加はもちろん無料。美味しい景品を持って帰ってください！

・ソリやストライダーは無料で利用いただけます。
・リフト担当の農家さんの協力でじゃがバター無料配布。
・お子様が参加可能な堆肥袋レース開催。
　優勝賞品あります。モイワのリフトスタッフで農家さんが作る米1グランプリ金賞受賞したお米、甘さ抜群の越冬じゃがいもなどニセコ野菜をはじめ美味しいものをご用意しています。
・イベントに参加いただいた方にも景品あり〼。

An outdoor banya experience in Niseko in winter! TENT BANYA POP UP

Vanya means sauna in Russian.
After enjoying Niseko’s powder snow, a Russian-made banya (sauna) is an exceptional way to enjoy a hot steam bath even in an environment of -30℃.

Banya Japan, an importer and distributor of tent banya from Russia, offers a new way to enjoy Niseko in winter.
Enjoy a hot steam bath in the snowy mountains, a chill space, and a whisking treatment for a world of deep relaxation that goes beyond “Toto Noi”.

Come on, let’s all take a powder dive~!

 

Whisking

Wisking is a sauna treatment that has been handed down from generation to generation in Russia and the Baltic States, in which the body is warmed and tapped using vichita, a bundle of branches and leaves of birch, oak, and other trees.
Surrounded by the scent and texture of the vichita, the five senses are stimulated, and the effect is to promote blood circulation and regulate the autonomic nervous system.
Using the whisking techniques learned in the real Russia, we offer a deep relaxation that goes far beyond the treatment.

 

Whisking Master

Nevanya / Yoichi Nebata
Born in Ishikawa Prefecture. Formerly worked at Mitsui for 10 years, and lived in Russia for 4 years. He runs an online Russian language school. In March 2021, he established Banya Japan Co., Ltd. to import and sell Russian tent banya Terma. He was the first Japanese to perform whisking at the national whisking competition in Russia at Vanya Fest in Moscow in July 2021. He is currently working to spread Russian banya culture and whisking in Japan by managing banya and whisking at events such as NIKKEI INNOVATIVE SAUNA, a sauna event sponsored by Nikkei, “Lakeside Time” at Lake Shirakaba in Nagano Prefecture, and Aufgussfest 2021.
